Selecting Report Period
 |
Statistics Server records up to 365 days of history for a Web site. Reports can only be selected within that time period. Day, week, month, and range queries up to 93 days (quarter of the year) are supported.
When a report period is selected it becomes a global setting and every report you go to after that will query the same report period. "Query Information" (report period) is always shown at the top of reports.
| Use the "Display by" control to define your query. |
| Day |
Select by clicking on any day of the month in the calendar. |
| Week |
Select by clicking Sunday for any week in the calendar. |
| Month |
Use the "<Prev" and "Next> buttons to select. |
| Range |
Use the "<Prev" and "Next> buttons select the first day in the range query followed by the last day. A maximum of 93 days can be displayed including the selected days. |
|
Time Stamp
All reports are time stamped showing server time at the moment the report was generated.
Zoomed Views
On many reports you will see magnifying glasses indicating a detailed report is available for the adjacent item. The globally selected report period is automatically applied to detailed reports.
Help System
Popup help is available for each report. Help resources are located at: "\statisticsserver\templates\english\graphics\help\"
Refresh Button
The Refresh button forces Statistics Server to calculate a new report. Note the time stamp located in the upper left corner of the report showing report generation time.
Printing Reports
Statistics Server can generate a printable version of a report anywhere the "Print" icon is displayed. Printable reports contain no navigation controls such as buttons. The Web Browser "Print" command is used to send the report to the printer.
- Select the report you want to print then click the "Print" button.
- Use your Web Browser "File/Print" command to send the print job to your printer.
- Use your Web Browser "Back" button ( <- ) to return to the Live Stats interface.
Export CSV
The Export button is used to download files containing statistics data in CSV (Comma Separated Variables) format. Many database packages support CSV imports. To save the CSV to hard disk:
- Select the report you want to export then click the Export button.
Back Button
The Back button is used to take you back from zoomed reports to the main report.
